For over thirty-five years, Rhonda has traveled the country as a professional director, musical director, actor, musician, and scenic artist.
Directing credits include the professional world premiere of SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN HOMECOMING in Tennessee, SANDERS FAMILY CHRISTMAS, SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN, SPITFIRE GRILL, HONKYTONK ANGELS, and many, many, many more.
Favorite acting roles include Vera Sanders in all the SMOKE shows which included a National Tour, four runs at the Ryman in Nashville, appearances on the Grand Ol' Opry and Opry Backstage and more recently at Wayside Theatre in Virginia and Lagniappe Theatre in Louisiana.
Other favorite roles: Yente in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Jo in COWGIRLS, Ida in MORNINGS AT SEVEN.
She served on the founding faculty for the Tennessee Governor's School for the Arts Theatre Division and has been twice granted Artist-in-Residence in her native state of West Virginia where she resides when not on the road.
She is a member of Actors' Equity Association and the American Federation of Musicians.
She is a Marshall University graduate in Theatre and Art, and is a proud mother to her cats, Zebulon, Zacchaeus, and Zasu.
